The survey shows that more than 90% of Singapore companies are targeting the opportunities brought by the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone. However, companies have also reported that they face certain challenges in terms of talent supply, cross-border flow of people and goods, and investment processes.

A report released by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) at the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone) Joint Investor Forum on Thursday (July 11) disclosed that Singaporean companies are very interested in the planned special economic zone.

A survey of 160 Singaporean companies from various sectors found that 93% of the respondents viewed Johor as an attractive investment location, with 50% of the companies already operating locally.

The purpose of this survey is to collect insights, feedback and suggestions from enterprises to strengthen the development of special economic zones and create a win-win situation for enterprises in both places.
